Basal.com is a fictional thematic cooking website. This site has a focus on minimalistic cooking, the inspiration for this came from modern Scandinavian kitchen design. The recipes all use 3 or less cooking instruments and 10 ingredients or less. The aesthetic of the site is very neutral keeping with Scandinavian design ideals, using only greyscale and a hint of green. The site was made responsive with moving elements upon page load and hover gifs for the tools sections.
